Sadaci is a company with a long history.

Some highlights are:

  • 1925: Sadaci is founded in 1925 by the Société Générale de Belgique.
  • 1965: From 1965 onwards the development of special alloys is undertaken. This lead to the construction of a Molybdenum roaster and Ferro Molybdenum plant in 1969 - 1970.
  • 1990: Sadaci is acquired by Comilog.
  • 1991:The new sulphuric acid plant is constructed in order to recover SO2 from the gases of the molybdenum roaster. This was a major strategical capital investment in order to protect the environment, and the future.
  • 1996 - 1997: Eramet became the most important shareholder of Comilog by acquiring 57% of the shares.
  • 1996: The Board of Sadaci decided to diversify to Environmental services and decided to proceed with the construction of a new roaster for the treatment of spent hydroprocessing catalysts.
  • 1999: Commissioning of the new spent catalyst roaster.
  • 2003: Sadaci is acquired by the MOLYMET group.
